Efficient operation of MEWPs
Efficient operation of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) requires theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge about machines. Only competent and trained operators meet the requirements for a responsible and proper handling of different platform types. Get your "driver's license" for work platforms now.
The operation of work platforms is subject to statutory regulations.

IPAF courses are certified by ISO 18878 (Mobile Elevating Work Platform Operator Training) and audited by TÜV. They comply with German DGUV regulation 308-008. An IPAF course covers both - international requirements for MEWP operation and the mandatory German training according to DGUV 308-008.
After successful completion, operators receive the IPAF PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) for international work. It is accepted in different countries all over the world as proof of qualification and is increasingly a prerequisite for global projects. Even on many German construction sites, clients specifically ask for this proof for operation of access technology.
Your Benefits:
The main causes of fatalities involving work platforms are falls, electrocution, entrapment, and overturning. These are situations that can be prevented by trained operators.
To participate in IPAF-certified training at Beyer Academy, participants must be at least 18 years old and physically fit.

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes and enables a safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide – through providing technical advice and information by influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and via its safety initiatives and training programmes.
IPAF is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members, which include manufacturers, rental companies, distributors, contractors and users of powered access. IPAF has members in more than 80 countries, who operate the majority of the MEWP rental fleet worldwide and manufacture about 85% of platforms on the market.
For 4-8 persons we organize special training days in English language in one of our training centres.
It is also possible to absolve theory part in advance as an online training and then fix a date with us in one of our training centres in order to do the test in writing and practical exercises.
If you want to send less than 4 trainees or book training for one single person, we offer theory part of the course as an online training in English language. After passing this part, trainees can fix a date for theory test and practice part in our training centre.
